2023 ACC Submission Guidelines for
Outstanding Faculty, Staff, Alumni, and Academic All-Star Students
*Awardee details and digital photos are due June 1.
Outstanding Faculty and Staff
The purpose of this program is to publicly recognize and promote the professional achievements and service of ACC member college faculty and staff. Faculty and staff will be included in awardee promotional materials and social media posts and will be recognized at the ACC conference on October 9, 2023, in Hot Springs.
Required for submission:
Name of college
Awardee name and email
Awardee title and years of service
The awardee must be approved by the college’s President/Chancellor.
The college will register the awardee for the conference, which includes the awards luncheon.
The college will submit a high resolution, digital photo to igranaldi@arkansascc.org.

Outstanding Alumni
The purpose of this program is to publicly recognize and promote the professional achievements and service of ACC member alumni. Alumni will be included in awardee promotional materials and social media posts, but they will NOT be recognized at the ACC conference. Colleges are encouraged to recognize alumni at local campus events.

Name of college
Awardee name
Awardee degree earned and graduation year
Awardee employer and title
The awardee must be approved by the college’s President/Chancellor.
The college will submit a high resolution, digital photo to igranaldi@arkansascc.org.

Academic All-Star Students
The purpose of this program is to publicly recognize and promote the scholarly and service achievements of ACC member students. Students will be included in awardee promotional materials and social media posts and will be recognized at the ACC conference on October 10, 2023, in Hot Springs.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Enrolled in a public community college and expected to continue enrollment through at least Fall 2023
Completed a minimum of 24 credit hours towards an associate degree by June 1, 2023
Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25
Demonstrated involvement in campus and/or community activities
Intent to graduate from the nominating college with an associate degree by Summer 2024
Colleges may develop additional criteria and/or application materials as needed

Name of college
Student name, mailing address, phone number, and email
What associate degree will the student earn?
What are the student’s future education and/or career plans?
The awardee meets all the eligibility requirements.
The awardee must be approved by the college’s President/Chancellor.
The college will submit a high resolution, digital photo to igranaldi@arkansascc.org.
The college will provide the awardee with a $500 scholarship for his/her final semester at the nominating college.
The college understands that the awardee will receive one (1) awards ceremony ticket for use by the awardee. This does not include conference registration.

PHOTOS
Photos should be high resolution (at least 1500 px). RAW or PNG files preferred. Please, no images copied from the web.
Do not put college logos on photos.
For alumni and students, photos depicting awardees in attire and/or in settings depicting their careers preferred.
BIOS
Bios should be 4 to 5 sentences, approximately 100 words, and written in third person.
Alumni and student bios should include educational/career details and
campus/community service highlights.
